Wow! What a day we have had.
We had a fantastic sports morning where you all took part in a range of activities, showcasing your sporting talents. When I looked around, you were all having a go, giving it your all and smiling non-stop! I am so proud of each and every one of you for taking part and trying your best, well done! I had so much fun, I didn’t take any pictures!
A big well done to the Yellow Wizards for winning the morning!
This week, we have been planning and preparing to make fruit kebabs. This afternoon, we reminded ourselves of the ingredients we had chosen and the instructions we wrote in preparation for this afternoon.
You all took turns to cut some fruit (with adult supervision!) and enjoyed selecting a range of fruits to try. We included a mystery fruit – some mango, which nearly everyone tried. Even if you didn’t like it, I’m so proud of you for giving it a go. It’s always good to try new things!
You put your fruit on the kebab stick carefully and we all enjoyed eating them together. I know you enjoyed them as you were silent – amazing!
“It tastes juicy!”
“This is so yummy!’
‘Mango is my new favourite!”
“Its a bit slimy!”
“Can we have some more?”
I’ve never seen anyone eat so much fruit – you definitely had your 5 a day and deserved it after a tiring morning.
A great day all round – well done Matilda Class! Here are some photos from this afternoon.
