Happy New Year Matilda Class!
I hope you have had a lovely break and enjoyed spending time with your families over the festive period, I’m looking forward to hearing all about your adventures.
Thank you so much for the gifts you kindly gave to myself, Miss Morrison and Ms Davies, we are very grateful for your kindness and thoughtfulness.
A few reminders/things to note before we come back on Thursday!
- MyMaths – in total, 34 activities have been completed on MyMaths. This is a brilliant result, but not everyone has logged in yet, please let me know if you are having trouble logging in. This is a brilliant tool and resource for maths practise! The challenges end on Friday.
- Hit the button – keep practising your quick recall of number bonds to 10 on hit the button. I cannot track this at home however you could make a note of all your scores in your reading diary for me to see! The highest score in Matilda Class in December was 25. Can you beat it? - Reading – I hope you’ve all enjoyed completing the reading challenge in your key skills books this holiday. I can’t wait to see what you’ve read!
- PE – we will be doing PE on Thursday so please bring your PE bags to school on Thursday.
If you have any recycling that hasn’t been put out for collection yet, please send it in a plastic bag as we would like to do some junk modelling this term!
Send me a comment if you’ve done anything this holiday that you would like to share! This could be homework, day trips, sporting activities or anything else you are proud of!
See you on Thursday!
Miss Gedney 😊
